Overview

Collections are Vendkit's solution for Content Management. Use Collections to manage information in groups. By grouping your website's information into Collections, reproducing information in different parts of your website is easy.

A Collection consists of one or more Items.

Examples​

Collections are great for storing groups of information, such as:

  • Authors
  • Photo Gallery
  • Features
  • Testimonials

Collections vs Pages​

Webpages​

Collections and Pages are similar, with the exception that when a Page is created, a corresponding webpage is automatically generated. Collections and Collection Items do not have corresponding webpages.

Collection and Collection Items cannot be added/displayed in the Navigation Bar.
